This 2-villa combo gives you two ground-floor apartments inside the Los Antonio complex:
Villa 2 in Futbol House and Villa 3 in Jungle House. They’re just a short walk apart, each fully self-contained, so your group can stay close but not on top of each other.
Across the two villas, you’ll have:
Villa 2 · Futbol House · Downstairs King + Sofa Suite
Villa 3 · Jungle House · Downstairs King Suite
Together, Villas 2 & 3 feel like two simple, well-equipped hotel-apartments: both on ground level, both with kitchens, and both easy to pop in and out of during the day.
Los Antonio is set in Puerto Carrillo, just outside Sámara:
You’re next to the local fútbol field and plaza, close to small hotels, simple restaurants, and places to grab a coffee or cold drink. Sámara is nearby if you want surf, more dining options, and a bit more buzz.
Villas 2 & 3 sit in a residential, low-key part of Puerto Carrillo:
Guests generally feel very comfortable walking to the grocery, heading to the beach, or going out to eat without worrying about safety.
This combo works especially well if you’re planning to stay a bit longer or work remotely:
If one or two people need to work online while others are on full vacation mode, this setup makes it easy.
In Villas 2 & 3 you’ll find:
Nearby, there’s also a resort-style pool across the street by Jungle House; access or day use may depend on local arrangements, so check your welcome details or ask before you go.
You can keep things very simple: walk for coffee, grab a plate of casado, do your beach time at Carrillo, and then decide on day trips as you go.
Villas 2 & 3 give you a no-fuss, comfortable base that’s very easy to live in for more than just a weekend.
Book Villas 2 & 3 at Los Antonio if you want two ground-floor apartments side-by-side in a quiet beach village, with full kitchens, strong Wi-Fi, and an easy routine between the plaza and Playa Carrillo.
You can absolutely stay here without a rental car if you’re comfortable walking and using local transport. The beach, grocery store, and several places to eat are all within walking distance. There’s also a local bus route connecting Puerto Carrillo and Sámara, plus taxis that can be arranged if needed. That said, if you want to explore multiple beaches and towns along the Nicoya Peninsula on your own schedule, a rental car gives you the most flexibility.
The apartment is professionally cleaned before your arrival, and fresh bed linens and bath towels are provided for your group. For stays of a week or more, we can help arrange an optional mid-stay cleaning and linen change for an additional fee – just ask before or during your trip. There is space to hang-dry clothes and towels, and if you’d like recommendations for local laundry services, we’re happy to share options.
Most guests find Puerto Carrillo peaceful compared to larger tourist towns, but it is still a real Costa Rican village. From time to time you may hear fútbol games on the field, children playing, dogs, roosters in the morning, or music from local gatherings, especially on weekends or holidays. Inside the apartment, noise is usually moderate, but if you’re a very light sleeper, we recommend bringing earplugs for extra comfort, just like anywhere in rural Costa Rica.
In coastal areas of Costa Rica, it’s normal to have occasional short power or internet interruptions, especially during storms or maintenance. Most outages are brief and resolve on their own. If anything lasts longer than expected, send us a quick message so we can check with the provider and give you an update. We always recommend downloading important work files, maps, and tickets offline before traveling, just in case you need to access them while things reboot.
