The Space

This 2-villa combo connects Villa 1 in Futbol House (upstairs) with Villa 3 in Jungle House (downstairs) inside the Los Antonio complex in Puerto Carrillo. You get two full apartments just a few steps apart, so your group can spread out while still staying very close.

Across the two villas, you’ll have:

Villa 1 · Futbol House · Upstairs King Suite

  • 1 bedroom with a Grand/California King bed
  • 1 full bathroom with hot water
  • Open-plan living area with comfortable seating and smart TV
  • Full kitchen for cooking at home
  • Balcony with views over the fútbol field and surrounding hills
  • Large windows that catch the breeze, plus air conditioning when you need it

Villa 3 · Jungle House · Downstairs King Suite

  • Open studio-style space with 1 King bed
  • 1 full-size futon / sofa bed
  • 1 full bathroom with hot water
  • Full kitchen with stove/oven, fridge, microwave, and basic cookware
  • Indoor dining table plus an outdoor sitting / dining spot
  • Easy ground-level access

Together, Villas 1 & 3 feel like two “home base” apartments in the same little complex: one elevated with a balcony and views, one downstairs and practical, both with their own kitchen and bathroom.

Beach & Location

Los Antonio sits in Puerto Carrillo village, close to one of the nicest beaches in Guanacaste:

  • Short walk or quick drive to Playa Carrillo, a calm, palm-fringed bay
  • Great for swimming, relaxing in the shade, or long walks under the trees
  • Quiet and family-friendly compared to bigger, party-oriented towns

You’re near the local fútbol field and plaza, so you’ll see real village life: kids playing, local matches, neighbors walking to the store. Sámara is just up the road for surf, more restaurants, and nightlife when you want it.

Safe, Quiet Neighborhood with Parking

Villas 1 & 3 are part of the Los Antonio complex in a calm, residential spot:

  • The area around the plaza and field is walkable and relaxed
  • Free on-site parking makes it easy if you’re arriving in a rental car
  • The village has a friendly, low-key feel, especially in the evenings

Guests like that they can walk to the store, grab a simple meal, or head to the beach without needing to drive everywhere.

Remote Work & Longer Stays

This combo is very easy to live in for a week or more, especially if someone in the group is working:

  • Fast Wi-Fi (around 120–130 Mbps) in the complex, good for calls and streaming
  • Two separate apartments means you can keep one space quieter for work
  • Air conditioning in both villas helps during hot afternoons
  • Sámara is a short drive or bus ride away if you want café-style workdays or more going on

It’s a simple, low-stress setup for digital nomads, remote workers, or longer-stay guests.

Amenities & Comfort

In Villas 1 & 3 you’ll find:

  • 2 King beds + 1 full-size futon/sofa bed
  • 2 full bathrooms with hot water
  • Two full kitchens (stove/oven, fridge, basic cookware, dishes, coffee maker)
  • Indoor dining tables and living areas
  • Balcony and outdoor sitting spaces with village and hill views
  • High-speed Wi-Fi
  • Air conditioning
  • TV
  • Beach access via a short walk or quick drive to Playa Carrillo
  • Free parking on the property
  • Self check-in via keypad / lockbox
  • Exterior security cameras around the building (no cameras inside)
  • Fresh linens, towels, and basic essentials so you can settle in quickly

Within a Short Walk You’ll Find

  • Local sodas (simple Costa Rican restaurants)
  • Small grocery / mini-super and corner shops
  • A few hotels, cafés, and places to grab a drink or snack
  • Bus routes and taxis to Sámara and other nearby beaches

You don’t have to over-plan; you can arrive, look around the plaza, and fall into an easy rhythm.

Who This Stay Is Perfect For

  • Two couples who want separate apartments but close together
  • Family or friends where one group likes the balcony views and the other prefers ground level
  • Remote workers who want a backup space for calls or quiet work
  • Guests who like a village feel close to Playa Carrillo, rather than a big resort town

You get the best of both worlds: an upper-level king suite with views and a ground-level king suite with extra sleeping space.

Good to Know

  • This booking includes two separate villas (Villa 1 and Villa 3) inside the Los Antonio complex

FAQ

Do I need to rent a car, or can I stay here without one?

You can absolutely stay here without a rental car if you’re comfortable walking and using local transport. The beach, grocery store, and several places to eat are all within walking distance. There’s also a local bus route connecting Puerto Carrillo and Sámara, plus taxis that can be arranged if needed. That said, if you want to explore multiple beaches and towns along the Nicoya Peninsula on your own schedule, a rental car gives you the most flexibility.

How does cleaning work during my stay? Are linens and towels provided?

The apartment is professionally cleaned before your arrival, and fresh bed linens and bath towels are provided for your group. For stays of a week or more, we can help arrange an optional mid-stay cleaning and linen change for an additional fee – just ask before or during your trip. There is space to hang-dry clothes and towels, and if you’d like recommendations for local laundry services, we’re happy to share options.

What should I expect in terms of noise (fútbol field, village, wildlife)?

Most guests find Puerto Carrillo peaceful compared to larger tourist towns, but it is still a real Costa Rican village. From time to time you may hear fútbol games on the field, children playing, dogs, roosters in the morning, or music from local gatherings, especially on weekends or holidays. Inside the apartment, noise is usually moderate, but if you’re a very light sleeper, we recommend bringing earplugs for extra comfort, just like anywhere in rural Costa Rica.

What happens if there’s a power or internet outage during my stay?

In coastal areas of Costa Rica, it’s normal to have occasional short power or internet interruptions, especially during storms or maintenance. Most outages are brief and resolve on their own. If anything lasts longer than expected, send us a quick message so we can check with the provider and give you an update. We always recommend downloading important work files, maps, and tickets offline before traveling, just in case you need to access them while things reboot.
