Booking Villas 1 & 2 gives your group the entire Futbol House building at Los Antonio: one villa upstairs and one villa downstairs, each fully self-contained. You stay together in the same building, but everyone still gets their own door, living area, kitchen, and bathroom.
Across the two villas, you’ll have:
Together, Futbol House feels like a two-level home split into two apartments: perfect when you want to stay close as a group, but still appreciate privacy and separate spaces for sleeping, resting, or working.
Futbol House is in Puerto Carrillo village, a relaxed, safe spot just outside of Sámara:
You’re right by the village plaza and fútbol field, so you can watch local games, stroll to simple restaurants and cafes, and feel part of everyday life in Carrillo instead of being isolated at a resort.
Futbol House sits in a residential corner of Puerto Carrillo:
Guests often mention how comfortable they feel walking to the store, grabbing dinner, or heading to the beach without needing to worry about safety.
Villas 1 & 2 work very well for remote work, extended stays, or mixed work/play trips:
If someone in your group needs to take calls or work on a laptop, it’s easy to carve out a quiet corner without sacrificing the vacation vibe.
In the Futbol House building (Villas 1 & 2), you’ll find:
You can arrive, unpack, and start living like a temporary local without a complicated plan.
Futbol House is a great middle ground: more space and flexibility than a single apartment, but simpler and less intense than a huge villa.
Book Futbol House – Villas 1 & 2 if you want an entire two-level building in Puerto Carrillo: two fully equipped villas in one, relaxed location, just moments from Playa Carrillo and an easy hop to Sámara.
You can absolutely stay here without a rental car if you’re comfortable walking and using local transport. The beach, grocery store, and several places to eat are all within walking distance. There’s also a local bus route connecting Puerto Carrillo and Sámara, plus taxis that can be arranged if needed. That said, if you want to explore multiple beaches and towns along the Nicoya Peninsula on your own schedule, a rental car gives you the most flexibility.
The apartment is professionally cleaned before your arrival, and fresh bed linens and bath towels are provided for your group. For stays of a week or more, we can help arrange an optional mid-stay cleaning and linen change for an additional fee – just ask before or during your trip. There is space to hang-dry clothes and towels, and if you’d like recommendations for local laundry services, we’re happy to share options.
Most guests find Puerto Carrillo peaceful compared to larger tourist towns, but it is still a real Costa Rican village. From time to time you may hear fútbol games on the field, children playing, dogs, roosters in the morning, or music from local gatherings, especially on weekends or holidays. Inside the apartment, noise is usually moderate, but if you’re a very light sleeper, we recommend bringing earplugs for extra comfort, just like anywhere in rural Costa Rica.
In coastal areas of Costa Rica, it’s normal to have occasional short power or internet interruptions, especially during storms or maintenance. Most outages are brief and resolve on their own. If anything lasts longer than expected, send us a quick message so we can check with the provider and give you an update. We always recommend downloading important work files, maps, and tickets offline before traveling, just in case you need to access them while things reboot.
